Yinda fluid bed dryer is one of the common processing equipment used in the pharmaceutical industry. It is a multi-purpose equipment as mixing, granulation and drying are all performed in the same equipment. The equipment operates in a bubble bed regime.
The material powder particles are fluidized in a circular shape in the fluidized bed and receive preheating and mixing by purified heated air, which atomizes the binder solution and sprays it in, causing several particles to gather into agglomerates containing binder. Due to the continuous drying of the material by the hot air, the water in the agglomerates evaporates and the binder solidifies. This process is repeated until uniform, microporous spherical particles are formed.
