Based on the first WDJ efficiency energy-saving multi-cylinder standing vacuum pump, it is developed by the machine dept. and adopts advanced technology and unique structure. It is the upgraded of W-type and WL-type. W-type horizontal vacuum pump resembled the USSR in 1950s and was eliminated overseas. Due to its inconsequence, it is of much power consumption, large area, weight, noise, abrasion of cylinder, piston ring, bearing, piston shaft, machine slide and crosshead, short service life of gas valve and inconvenient operation and maintenance. Adopting standing multi-cylinder structure, it is of uniform force and little abrasion. The abrasion percentage of air cylinder, piston ring, bearing, piston shaft and crosshead reduces to 1%. The optimization of the air valve gives cushion and improves the service life by 50 times. II. The power consumption reduces 50%: W4 11KW, WDJ-100 5.5KW; W5 22KW, WDJ-200 11KW. III. It covers one third of the former area: W4 2.4m2, WDJ-100 0.75m2, W5 3.8m2, WDJ-100 1.1m2. IV. It takes 50% water of W-type. The forced cooled air cylinder is better. V. It diminishes transverse wave inferior vibration and reduces the noise. VI. It adopts closed appearance, which avoids oil spattering and working surroundings.
