[Usage and Dosage]

1, Low prothrombin: Intramuscular or deep subcutaneous injection, each time 10mg (1 branches), 1-2 times a day, within 24 hours the total amount of not more than 40mg (4 branches). 

2, Prevention of neonatal hemorrhage: Can be injected to mother 12~24 hours before delivery, or slow intravenous injection of 2 to 5mg. Can also be born in the newborn intramuscular or subcutaneous injection 0.5 ~ 1mg, 8 hours later can be repeated.

3, This product is used for severe patients with intravenous injection, the speed of drug delivery should not exceed 1mg/minute.

[Adverse Reactions] Occasionally allergic reactions. Too fast, more than 5mg/ points, can cause facial flushing, sweating, bronchospasm, tachycardia, hypotension, etc., have been reported rapid intravenous lethal. Intramuscular injection can cause redness and swelling. The newborn may suffer from hyperbilirubinemia, jaundice and hemolytic anemia after the use of the product.

(1)Patients with liver function impairment, the efficacy of this product is not obvious, blind dosage can aggravate liver injury. 

(2)This product is ineffective for heparin induced bleeding tendency. There is no need to use this product for traumatic bleeding.

[Pharmacological Interaction] This product and sodium phenytoin mixing 2 hours later can appear particles precipitation, and vitamin C, vitamin B12, dextran mixed easily appear cloudy. In combination with the coumarin oral anticoagulants, the action counteracts each other. Salicylic acid, sulfamethoxazole, quinine, quinidine etc. also influence the effect of vitamin K1.

[Drug Overdose] High dose or over dose can aggravate liver damage.

[Pharmacology and Toxicology] This product is vitamin medicine. Vitamin K is required for synthesis of liver factor II, VII, IX, X material. Vitamin K deficiency may cause coagulation disorders or abnormalities in these coagulation factors, indicating a tendency to bleed and prolong prothrombin time.

[Pharmacokinetics] Intramuscular injection for 1-2 hours, the effect of 3-6 hours of hemostasis is obvious, 12-14 hours after the prothrombin time returned to normal. This product is metabolized in the liver and excreted through the kidneys and bile.
