Usage: As a brominating agent for aromatic rings, it can react with phenols and their aromatic ethers, aromatic amines and amides, aromatic hydrocarbons and aromatic heterocycles to selectively prepare corresponding mono -, di -, and tri brominated products. It can also be used for the addition of olefins, oxidation reactions of alcohols, phenols, ethers, and other bromination reactions.

Caution: Easy to absorb water, should be sealed and stored dry, avoid prolonged heating.
