Application: Cationic surfactant, phase transfer catalyst; Brominators of aromatic rings can selectively prepare corresponding mono -, di -, and tri brominated products by reacting with phenols and their aromatic ethers, aromatic amines and amides, aromatic hydrocarbons, and aromatic heterocycles. It can also be used for the addition of olefins, oxidation reactions of alcohols, phenols, ethers, and other bromination reactions.

Caution: Easy to absorb water, should be sealed and stored dry, avoid prolonged heating.
