What is a spiral wound tube heat exchanger?

Spiral wound tube heat exchanger, also known as threaded tube heat exchanger, turbulent heat exchanger, double bellows heat exchanger. It is a new type of shell and tube heat exchanger. Each heat exchange tube is evenly wound in the heat exchanger shell according to a certain rule.

According to the different interface structure, it is divided into L type and Y type. According to whether it can be disassembled, it can be divided into detachable type and non-detachable type.

1.High heat transfer coefficient

The unique spiral wound tube bundle optimizes the flow state of the fluid on both sides, and the heat exchange capacity per unit area is 3-5 times that of the traditional heat exchange area.

It can be used as a heater to improve the heat utilization rate, and when used as a condenser, it can improve the material recovery rate and save the cost of refrigerant.

2.Long service life

The elastic tube bundle in the heat exchanger can effectively absorb stress and vibration, prolong the service life of the heat exchanger, and the design life is up to 20 years.

3.Low scaling tendency

Unique Y-shaped interface, there is no dead angle in the heat exchanger, and the tube side and shell side can be emptied; the high flow rate design of the shell side can effectively reduce the probability of scaling on the surface of the heat exchange tube, and the scaling tendency is low.

4.small floor space

The structure is compact. Under the same working conditions, the volume is only about 1/5 of the traditional heat exchanger, which saves space and reduces the load.

5.Low operating cost

Under the steam heating condition,the steam is saved more than 10%. Under the condensing condition, the recovery rate is increased by 1-3%, and the condensing temperature is lower under the same refrigerant; the same condensing temperature reduces the consumption of low-temperature refrigerant and saves operating costs.
