    Spherical cellulose is a kind of microporous spherical bead like cellulose, which is obtained by saponification of CA-77 with alkaline solution, filtration, washing and drying with water.

    Their characteristics include soft touch, low skin irritation and good air permeability, and they have been mainly developed for cosmetic ingredients. Because they have proper oil absorption and small proportion, compared with traditional inorganic fine particles, they make cosmetics have good texture and excellent performance by being wrapped in cosmetics.


    Spherical cellulose acetate and spherical cellulose have the following characteristics:

    3) Highly porous.

    They are very useful for the preparation of cosmetics. They absorb oil, fat and sweat, giving stable makeup and relaxed texture. Because of their absorption of too much oil and moisture, they have a wide space for use. It will not agglomerate when making pressed cosmetics.

    4) It is smooth and moisturized with little coalescence. The dispersibility is very good. Compared with other spherical examples, they are less agglomerative, so they don't need to do too much particle separation when making cosmetics.     1) Spherical cellulose is composed of cellulose and spherical cellulose acetate is composed of cellulose acetate (degree of acetylation: 58-60%).

    2) Spherical cellulose and spherical cellulose acetate are difficult to dissolve in water. Spherical cellulose only dissolves in specific solvents, CA-77 is more lipophilic and dichloromethane and chloroform.

    3) The total pore area and specific surface area of spherical cellulose acetate are larger than those of spherical cellulose acetate, so it is more porous.

    4) Spherical cellulose and spherical cellulose acetate should be selected properly according to the use.
