SODA Spray Dryer for Pharmaceutical and Food Products

For materials with low softening point and strong hygroscopicity, if they are dried by general spray dryers, caramel-like sticky walls will often appear in the wall of the drying chamber and the receiving barrel under the cyclone separator, and sometimes dry powder cannot be received at all.

In order to solve this problem, it is necessary to add a large amount of auxiliary materials such as dextrin and starch to the concentrate before spray drying. Even so, after a few hours of operation, the wall will be stuck and the materials will be coked near the hot air distributor on the top of the drying room, so the machine has to be shut down for cleaning and cleaning. As a result, due to the long-term adhesion of some materials in the drying room, the overall quality of the product declines, and the machine is often shut down for cleaning, which not only reduces the yield, but also wastes energy and greatly reduces the utilization rate of the equipment.
