    What is Red Cabbage?

    Red Cabbage Color, a pure natural and water soluble food color extracted from edible red cabbage of Cruciferae family planted locally. The process is checking, washing, slicing, extracting, filtrating, purifying, concentrating, sterilizing(Red Cabbage Color liquid), spraying & drying(Red Cabbage Color powder). The main coloring ingredient is anthocyanins which contain cyanidin

    Red cabbage powder is a kind of natural edible pigment extracted from crucifer cabbage, whose byname is red vegetable. It contains anthocyanins, flavones and tannins. The amaranthine liquid or powder color is soluble in water, alcohol, but insoluble in oil and absolute alcohol. The environment PH value can influence its hue and stability. At PH 2.0-6.0, the color is red or amaranthine; at PH 7.0, it is blue: at PH above 7.0, it is unstable green. it can be used in the coloring of wine, carbonic acid drinks, juice drink, jam and candy.

     

    What will Red Cabbage be used for?

    1. Pigmentation.

    2.Containing vitamin A, clearing away heat, detoxifying, reducing blood pressure and being cholagogue; belonging to carotenoid.

    3.can be widely used in instant rice & flour products, raw-wet flour ptoducts, raw-dry flour products, cereal products fillings, cocoa products, chocolates and chocolate products,fruit-flavoured beverages, beverages of fruit and vegetable juice (pulp), frozen drinks(edible ice excluded), candy, cakes, preserved fruits, jelly, puffed food, canned nuts & seeds, imitation wine. When use Gardenia Yellow, dissolve the color with a small amount of water first, and then mix the color solution with food materials.
