Povidone is a series of polymers formed by homopolymerization of N-vinylpyrrolidone, ranging from low molecular weight to high molecular weight. It has good hygroscopicity, film-forming ability, complexation and physiological compatibility. Widely used in various formulations as dispersants, solvents, adhesives, film forming agents, and stabilizers.
