Usage
1. O-nitrobenzaldehyde, which is also known as 2-nitrobenzaldehyde.Volatile with water vapor, benzaldehyde flavor. Soluble in ethanol, ether, benzene, slightly soluble in water, reacts violently with parole. The main purpose is for organic synthesis intermediates in pharmaceuticals and dye area.

O-nitrobenzaldehyde is an organic synthesis intermediate used in the pharmaceutical industry for the manufacture of anti-anginal medicine nitropyridine (nifedipine); its nitro group is reduced to amino group to become anthranilamine, which can be used to synthesize quinoline ring drugs. O-nitrobenzaldehyde is mainly used for medicine and dye intermediates.
