General Information

Neohesperidin Dihydrochalcone is extracted from the natural bitter oranges. The solvent used in the production process is pure water with no chemical residues. It is included in my country’s food additive usage standard GB2760-2024 as an edible spice. It is also widely used in various foods as a food flavor enhancer

Product Features

Sweetener: The sweetness is 1500-1800 times that of sucrose and can be used as a sweetener for energy-free foods.

Flavor Enhancer: Neohesperidin Dihydrochalcone can enhance sweetness, aroma, and flavor to block bitterness.

Bitter Mask Agent: Neohesperidin Dihydrochalcone can act on bitter receptors when it is below the sweetness threshold, raising the human threshold for bitterness, and the bitterness removal effect is significantly better than that of general sweeteners.

Function: It also has some physiological features, such as antioxidants, reduction of cholesterol, blood fat, and blood sugar, and protection of the liver.

• Inscribed in the EU Food Sweeteners List (E959).

• It is used as a flavoring agent in Japan.

• As a sweetening substance, it is listed in the Catalog of Feed Additives in my country (2013) Ministry of • Agriculture Announcement No. 2045.

• China Fragrance, Flavor and Cosmetics Industry Association, Shandong Benyue Biotechnology Co., Ltd., and the South China University of Technology jointly released the T/ CAFFC138-2020 "New Methyl Hesperidin Dihydrochalcone" group standard.
