mPEG-DTA-1（ALC-0159 Analog 1）

mPEG-DTA-1 (ALC-0159 Analog 1) is a polyethylene glycolated lipid (PEGylated lipid) commonly used in lipid nanoparticle (LNP)-based drug delivery systems, particularly in the fields of mRNA vaccines and gene therapy. As a structural analog of ALC-0159, mPEG-DTA-1 plays a role in stabilizing and optimizing nanoparticles in LNP formulations.

mPEG-DTA-1 consists of two components:

1. mPEG (methoxy polyethylene glycol): A hydrophilic polymer that extends the circulation time of nanoparticles in the body, reduces recognition and clearance by the immune system, and thereby enhances drug delivery efficiency.

2. DTA (lipid anchor): A hydrophobic lipid structure that can embed into the lipid bilayer of LNPs, ensuring that the mPEG chains are firmly anchored to the nanoparticle surface.

In the development of mRNA vaccines (e.g., COVID-19 vaccines), mPEG-DTA-1 is widely used to improve the stability and biocompatibility of LNPs while reducing nanoparticle aggregation and immunogenicity.
