Alpha-mangostin is a xanthone compound extracted from the plant mangosteen. In addition,α-mangostin is derived from the active ingredients of natural mangosteen, which is safe, non-toxic and has a long history of consumption.

PRODUCT FUNCTION

1.Alpha-mangostin also inhibits the activity of cyclooxygenase, and the inhibitory concentration range is similar to that of  γ-mangostin.

2.Alpha-mangostin can inhibit the activity of sphingomyelinase.

3.Alpha-mangostin has a certain antioxidant effect.

4.Alpha-mangostin has potent antibacterial activity against methicillin and toluicllin sensitive Staphylococcus aureus.
