Properties:This product may sublimate under vacuum at 280°C,It can soluble in dimethoxyethane ,diglyme.THF and slightly in diethyl other.It is stable in dry air .but hydrolyze in the damp air.This product is a mild reducing agent with high selectivity.It cannot reduce fatty acid ester and acrylic ester,however,it can reduce phenyl ester of fatty acid and cyclic acid ,ketones and aldehydes as well as acyl chloride in diethyl ether or diglyme at 0°C.
Usage:A mild ,highly selective reducing agent .Used as reducing agent in the synthesis of pharmaceutical,perfume ,pesticide,dye and other fine chemicals.Widely used in reducing steroid ketone ,and also used as reducing agent for synthesis of Atazanavir,an anti-AIDS drugs.
