Honokiol is a biphenol compound and one of the main active ingredients of Magnolia officinalis. The active ingredients of Magnolia officinalis are mainly phenolic compounds (mainly magnolol and honokiol) extracted and isolated from the root bark and branch bark of Magnolia officinalis.

PRODUCT FUNCTION

1.Antibacterial effect

Magnolia bark extract has strong antibacterial effect on cariogenic bacteria Streptococcus mutans, and its antibacterial active ingredient is determined to be honokiol.
