Hawthorne Berry Extract

Hawthorne Berry Extract is made from the tiny red berries that grow on the Hawthorne shrub (Crataegus oxyacantha). Hawthorne berriesas well as the leaves and flowershave been used in traditional medical systems since ancient times.Hawthorne berry extract is widely used as a heart tonic, particularly in Europe.

Function

(1) Improving the tolerability of mycardium to hypoxia and act against cardiac infarct like propanolol.

(2) Dilating coronary artery and improving the vitality of myocardium.

(3) Decreasing blood lipids,blood pressure and the cerebral vascular resistance.

(4) Act against arrhythmia,expecially atrial or ventricular premature beats,but have no effect on  effect on atrial fibrillation.
