Product Description

Sodium bicarbonate is an inorganic compound, a white powder or fine crystal, odorless, salty, easily soluble in water, and the aqueous solution is slightly alkaline. Easy to decompose when heated, it slowly decomposes in humid air, producing carbon dioxide. It begins to decompose at around 50 ºC and completely decomposes when heated to 270 ºC.

When exposed to acid, it strongly decomposes and produces carbon dioxide. Sodium bicarbonate is widely used in industries such as chemical, pharmaceutical, food, light industry, textile, and people's daily lives.

Application

Food processing purposes
In food processing, sodium bicarbonate is the most widely used loosening agent, used in the production of biscuits, bread, etc. It is a generator of carbon dioxide in soda beverages and can also be used as a butter preservative. It can be used as a color protectant for fruits and vegetables in vegetable processing.

Agricultural and animal husbandry purposes
Sodium bicarbonate can be used for agricultural seed soaking and can also compensate for the insufficient lysine content in feed, promoting the growth of cattle.

Medical use
Sodium bicarbonate can be used as a raw material for pharmaceuticals, to treat excessive gastric acid, metabolic acidosis, and to alkalize urine to prevent uric acid, kidney stones, etc
