Fortified Procaine Penicillin and Streptomycin Sulfate

Composition:
Procaine Penicillin B. P. 1.5g (1, 500, 000 I. U/U. I)
Benzylpenicillin Sodium B. P. 0.3G (500, 000 I. U/U. I)
Streptomycin Sulphate B. P. Equivalent to Streptomycin 2g

Description:
A white or off-white powder

Indications:
Arthritis, mastitis and gastrointestinal, respiratory and urinary tract infection caused by penicillin and streptomycin sulfate sensitive micro-organisms, like campylobacter, clostridium, corynebacterium, E. Coli, erysipelothrix, haemophllus, klebsiolla, listeria, pasteurella, salmonella, and staphylococcus spp., in calves, cattle, goats, sheep and swine.

Contra-indications:
Hypersensitivity to penicillin, procaine and/or aminoglycosides. Administration to animals with a serious impaired renal fuction. Concurrent administration with tetracyclines, chloramphenicol, macrolides and lincosamides.

Side effects:
Administrations of therapeutic dosages of penicillin G procaine can result in abortion in sows. Ototoxity, neurotoxicity or nephrotoxicity.
Hypersensitivity reactions.

Dosage and administration:
By intramuscular injection., intravenously. Shake well before use.
Intramuscular administration, shake well before use.
Cattle, Horse, Sheep, Goats; 1ml per 20kg b. W. Daily for 3-5days.
Young animals: Dosage 50% higher.

Withdrawal time:
28 days for meat and edible tissues. 3days for milk.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place between 15 -20 degree, away from direct sunlight.
