Etripotene ethanolamine is an oral active ethanolamine salt of Etripotene, which is a small molecule, non peptide thrombopoietin receptor agonist with the activity of stimulating megakaryogenesis. Etripopal binds and stimulates the transmembrane domain of platelet thrombopoietin receptor (TPO-R or CD110), which is a member of the hematopoietic receptor superfamily. The activation of TPO-R leads to cell proliferation and differentiation in megakaryocytes, and increases platelet production.
