Coleus Forskohlii Extract

Coleus forskohlii is distributed in China, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan and Africa. The whole plant can be used as medicine. Its leaves contain chlorophyll and volatile oil, which can strengthen the heart, lower blood pressure, relieve asthma, resist thrombosis and lower the eye pressure and other pharmacological effects. The active ingredient of Coleus forskohlii extract is forskolin, one of the strongest adenylate cyclase activators known so far, which can directly activate adenylate cyclase and increase the concentration of cyclic adenylate in a variety of tissue cells, thereby participating in the regulation of a variety of cell functions. It is also involved in the formation of important hormones in the body. Forskolin can lower blood pressure, inhibit allergic reactions, promote the secretion of thyroxine, inhibit inflammation caused by platelet activating factor (PAF) 6 and inhibit the spread of cancer cells.
