Coenzyme Q10 reduced form/Ubiquinol

Q10 is a vitamin-like nutrient, ubiquitously present in almost all

cells, which plays an essential role in the energy production of

cells through the respiratory chain in mitochondria. Q10 exits as

both oxidized and reduced form with the later as majority

(>95%) in blood circulation. Only Ubiquinol (reduced form QH) possesses anti-oxidation activity

and it serves as the active structure in human body. Its biological absorption is 3-7 times more than

that of Q10

Ubiquinol presents extreme chemical instability upon exposure to air, light and high temperature.
