D301 is a macroporous strongly basic anion exchange resin. When water containing anions passes through a resin bed, the anions in the water exchange with the exchangeable anions on the resin (usually hydroxide ions OH⁻). Specifically, the tertiary amine groups on the D301 resin dissociate OH- in water and become weakly basic. The positive charge groups can adsorb and combine with the anions in the solution, thereby generating anion exchange and removing the anions from the water.
Function: Mainly used to remove anionic pollutants in water, such as nitrates, chlorides, sulfates, etc. Its working principle is to adsorb anions in water and release hydroxide ions (OH-).
Physical form: This resin is usually opaque spherical particles.
Regeneration: Over time, the resin will become saturated and needs to be regenerated regularly to restore its adsorption capacity. Regeneration usually involves rinsing the resin with an alkaline solution (such as sodium hydroxide NaOH) to remove the adsorbed anions, and then rinsing the resin to remove the remaining alkaline solution.
