Nitro wastewater:
Main ingredients: Nitrobenzene, nitrophenol, chlorobenzene, benzoic acid, acrolein, dichloroethane and other organic pollutants COD: 75092mg/L. The original process of the owner adopts Fenton oxidation for pretreatment. In the first phase of the project, 30T/D of raw water is used. After Fenton process, the COD is about 50000mg/L, diluted to 6000-7000mg/L, and then subjected to acidification anaerobic aerobic treatment to meet the discharge standards. The water volume of the second phase project reaches 160T/D. If the original process is continued, the Fenton sludge volume is too large, the disposal cost is high, and a large amount of low concentration water dilution is required, resulting in high investment and operating costs for the biochemical system.
The owner hopes to use UV-AOP instead of Fenton process to solve the above problems.
Purpose of UV-AOP processing
·Reduce COD concentration by more than 60%
·Improve the biochemical properties of wastewater to 0.4 or above
·No hazardous waste generated
