    Character:
This product is white powder. An oral, sugar-free suspension that can be prepared with water.

    Indications:
The indications are for the short-term treatment of an infection suspected to be caused by amoxicillin-resistant beta-lactamase-producing bacteria. Otherwise, amoxicillin alone should be considered. Upper respiratory tract infections (including ear, nose and throat) : sinusitis, otitis media, recurrent tonsillitis. These infections are usually caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilus influenzae *. Moraxella catarrhal * and Streptococcus pyogenes. Lower respiratory tract infection: acute onset of chronic bronchitis (especially severe bronchitis), bronchopneumonia. These infections are usually caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilus influenzae *, and Moraxella catarrines *. Urinary tract infection: cystitis (especially recurrent or complex infections, but not prostatitis). These infections are usually caused by the genera Enterobacteriaceae *(mainly Escherichia coli *), Staphylococcus saprophyticus, and Enterococcus *. Skin and soft tissue infections: cellulitis, animal bites, severe gum abscess with maxillofacial cellulitis. These infections are usually caused by Staphylococcus aureus *, Streptococcus pyogenes * and Bacteroides *. * Some strains of these genera produce beta-lactamase and are therefore insensitive to amoxicillin alone. This product can be used to treat amoxicillin sensitive bacteria and β-lactamase sensitive bacteria caused by mixed infection. These infections are treated without the addition of other anti-beta-lactamase antibiotics.

    Usage and dosage:
    · Mild and moderate infections (upper respiratory tract infections, such as recurrent tonsillitis; Lower respiratory tract infections and skin and soft tissue infections) : 28.6mg per kg body weight per day (amoxicillin 25mg, clavulanate 3.6mg).

    · More severe infections (upper respiratory tract infections such as otitis media and sinusitis; Lower respiratory tract infections, such as bronchopneumonia; Urinary tract infection) : 51.4mg per kilogram of body weight per day (amoxicillin 45mg, clavulanic acid 6.4mg).

    Precautions:
There have been some patients with liver function changes after taking this product. Because the clinical significance of this change has not been determined, caution must be exercised in patients with liver insufficiency.

Severe and reversible obstructive jaundice is rarely reported, and the signs and symptoms may also appear up to six weeks after withdrawal.

This product is not recommended for patients with renal impairment.

Patients with infectious mononucleosis who use amoxicillin are prone to measles - like rash. This product should be avoided in patients suspected of infectious mononucleosis.

Long-term use of this product occasionally causes overgrowth of non-sensitive bacteria.

Abnormally prolonged prothrombin time (increased INR) after use of this product and oral anticoagulants has been reported in very rare patients, so patients receiving anticoagulant therapy should use this product with caution. Oral anticoagulant doses may have to be adjusted to maintain desired anticoagulant levels.

    Medication for special population:
You can use this product during lactation. If the risk of allergy is excluded, trace amounts of this product secreted into milk have no known harmful effects on lactating infants.

    Drug interaction:
It has been reported that the use of this product can prolong bleeding and prothrombin time in some patients, so patients treated with anticoagulants should use this product with caution.

As with other antibiotics, this product may affect the intestinal flora, resulting in reduced estrogen reabsorption and reducing the effectiveness of combined oral contraceptives.
