Product Description:
3’3-Diindolylmethane (DIM) is widely found in natural plants of Cruciferae. It has important biological and pharmacological activities and is widely used in the field of medicine and health products.
DIM has the biological characteristics listed in the following table. Due to its various potent anticancer properties, the National Cancer Institute has begun clinical trials of DIM to treat many forms of cancer. Due to its inherent immunoregulatory properties (enhancing interferon γ receptors and production), DIM is also being studied for the treatment of a variety of viral infections and drug-resistant bacteria. Since DIM has been shown to have synergistic effects with interferon-γ in enhancing major histocompatibility complexes, it is also being investigated as an adjuvant in the IFN-G treatment model for cancer and viral infections such as HIV, HPV and hepatitis.
