Professor James Rothman, Nobel Laureate, to Join the Board of Noscendo GmbH

Noscendo GmbH, a leading European provider of NGS-based diagnostics for infectious diseases, announced today that Professor James Rothman has agreed to serve on its board as an independent director. Professor Rothman will add his significant expertise in the life sciences to advance the strategic goals of the Company and address unmet needs in infectious disease identification and treatment.

Professor Rothman, the Sterling Professor of Cell Biology at Yale University, is one of the world's most distinguished biochemists and cell biologists. He has received numerous awards and honors in recognition of his work on vesicle trafficking and membrane fusion, including the 2013 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine. He is a member of the National Academy of Sciences and Medicine, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
