According to the Financial Times, Pfizer and Moderna have raised the prices of their COVID-19 vaccines in their latest supply contracts with the EU, as reported Sunday in Investing.com.
The newspaper, citing the contracts, suggested that the new price for Pfizer's vaccine is €19.50, up from €15.50 previously, while Moderna's is priced at $25.50 a dose, up from about €19.00 ($22.60).
However, the Financial Times, citing an official close to the matter, noted that the cost of Moderna's product is lower than the previously-agreed price of $28.50 per dose because the order had grown.
