The Netherlands' Outbreak Management Team (OMT) expressed doubts about whether Johnson & Johnson's single-dose COVID-19 vaccine offers sufficient protection against the Delta variant, reported NL Times.

OMT skeptical about effectiveness of Janssen Covid-19 vaccine after two weeks

"It is still questionable to what extent it indeed offers full immunity against the Delta variant 14 days after vaccination," the OMT commented, according to the ANP.

The OMT emphasized that the majority of young people follow coronavirus regulations.

According to the group, the tightened measures must be maintained until mid-August, when everyone has been vaccinated at least once.
