In a recent development, PharmEasy has announced its merger with Medlife. In a blog post today, PharmEasy said that Medlife will discontinue operations and will merge with PharmEasy, starting 25th May, 2021.
“Medlife customers just need to login to the PharmEasy app to start using their Medlife account via the same mobile number. All their digitised prescriptions and saved addresses dating back to a year will be available on the PharmEasy app,” it added.
Mentioning that Medlife has catered to the country’s healthcare needs covering over 465 cities, the blogpost claimed that this merger is sure to complement PharmEasy’s ever-growing efforts in India’s healthcare space.
“With this acquisition, Medlife users will automatically become PharmEasy users. We have tried our best to make this transition as smooth as possible,” it emphasised.
It also assured a commitment to give its customers faster delivery, exclusive offers and benefits on a wide range of healthcare products and services.
“PharmEasy has been working towards making affordable healthcare accessible to all since 2015. Needless to say, we have come a long way and with this merger, we only aim to reach greater heights,” mentioned the blogpost.
It further added, “We are also looking forward to onboarding Medlife’s retail partners and continuing our journey with them with utmost sincerity. We assure that users’ and retailers’ experience won’t be compromised in any way, and will only get better going forward.”
