Antares Vision will introduce a verification router service for compliance with serialization mandates at Booth 2571. The company will showcase AVrs, a new software solution designed for compliance according to DSCSA verification requirements. AVrs manages serialization data flow to connect all distribution stakeholders, manufacturers and repackagers, and is designed to provide efficient data management and compatibility with various hardware and software used throughout the supply chain – including other brand owners, CMOs and healthcare agencies, according to the company.
A Verification Router Service or VRS, is one of a series of milestone requirements for the next phase of the Drug Supply Chain Security Act. Beginning in late November 2019, no returned serialized product may be resold until the wholesale distributor verifies that product’s unique identifiers, including the standardized numerical identifier (SNI) for each sealed homogeneous case or package. AVrs has two integral features for interoperability, a fast connection and response to help ensure high speed performance, and secure management of master data and interoperability.
