Roche today announced the signing of a partnership agreement and investment in Care Innovations, a leading provider of telemedicine services to patients suffering from chronic conditions Illnesses that connect remotely with their care teams. Under the terms of the agreement, Roche and Care Innovations will integrate mySugr into the Care Innovations telesales platform and provide networked long-distance care for integrated personalized diabetes and population-based health care to the extensive Care Innovations customer base, which includes health insurance, healthcare networks, and clinics. Through the mySugr solution or® Guide blood glucose meter and test strips, delivered directly to your home.
In addition to the partnership agreement and understanding of the importance of providing expanded access to digitally enabled diabetes management solutions, Roche Venture Fund has invested in the first completion of the Care Innovations Series B funding round.
