The American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) has selected award winning manuscripts from three research journals: The AAPS Journal, AAPS PharmSciTech, and Pharmaceutical Research. Each of these manuscript awards aims to recognize contributions to the pharmaceutical sciences as demonstrated by the respective authors, and impact criteria includes innovative original research and reviews, number of citations of the paper, and quantity of article downloads.
The AAPS PharmSciTech High Impact Article Award
Development of Solid Self-Emulsifying (SEDDS) Formulation for Improving the Oral Bioavailability of Erlotinib, the AAPS PharmSciTech High Impact Article Award winner, conducted thorough morphological analysis, solid state characterization, in vitrodrug release, and in vivo pharmacokinetic (PK) studies to clearly demonstrate their conclusion. This award is intended to recognize outstanding achievement in pharmaceutical technologies as demonstrated by authorship of a manuscript published in the journal.

This award recognizes outstanding contributions to the pharmaceutical sciences as demonstrated by the authors in the quality and originality of a manuscript published in the official journal of AAPS, The AAPS Journal. This year’s award goes to Clinical Predictors of Venetoclax Pharmacokinetics in Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia and Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma Patients: A Pooled Population Pharmacokinetic Analysis, by the following authors:

The AAPS Pharmaceutical Research Meritorious Manuscript Award
The AAPS Pharmaceutical Research Meritorious Manuscript Award is intended to recognize outstanding achievement in the pharmaceutical sciences as demonstrated by the authors in the quality and originality of a manuscript published in Pharmaceutical Research. This year’s winning manuscript, A Lower Temperature FDM 3D Printing for the Manufacture of Patient-Specific Immediate Release Tablets, was submitted by:
