Teva Pharmaceuticals will lay off 208 people this year at their Pennsylvania-based locations, according to notices filed with the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry.
The Israeli generic drug maker, which has its U.S. headquarters located in North Wales, Pa., announced at the end of 2017 it would eliminate 14,000 positions globally over the next two years.
The company notified state regulators that it will cut 65 jobs at two locations in North Wales and Horsham, 47 jobs in West Chester, and 96 jobs in Frazer and Great Valley. The notices were listed as layoffs, scheduled to take place by the end of 2018.
