For the 14th year, the journal Science today recognized Abbott on its Top Employers list, which is based on an evaluation of 23 characteristics including financial strength, easy adaptation to change, and a research-driven environment.

About the 2017 Science survey
The 2017 Science survey sought to identify the companies with the best reputations as employers. The findings are based on 6,950 completed surveys from readers of Science and other survey invitees. Survey respondents came from North America (65%), Europe (25%) and Asia/Pacific Rim (7%); 94% work in biotechnology, biopharmaceutical and pharmaceutical companies.
