Symcel Sverige AB appointment Jesper Ericsson as new Chief Executive Officer

U.S. based biotechnology company, Symcel has announced Jesper Ericsson as the new chief executive officer.

Ericsson was formally Director of Marketing and Sales at BioLamina AB, where he was responsible for direct sales both internationally and at a global and regional distributor level. During the past 10 years, he has gained broad experience of the commercialization of research-based products through his work at the Unit for Bioentrepreneurship at the Karolinska Institute, Stockholm School of Entrepreneurship and as co-founder of the Stockholm BiotechBuilders Association.

He holds a PhD in neuroscience from the Karolinska Institute and a MSc in medical technology from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm.

Jesper commented, "I very much look forward to developing the plan and globally establishing Symcel's solutions for phenotypic screening - with a substantial focus on sales and marketing in the coming years."
