Siloam International Hospital, Indonesia recently announced the opening of Siloam Hospitals Bogor in Bogor and the acquisition of Rumah Sakit Hosana Medica in Bekasi.
The acquisition of RSHM, subject to final due diligence review results, will be made through 100% purchase by Siloam of RSHM’s shares and assets, in the amount of Rp 150 billion. SHBG is the second greenfield hospital opened this year while RSHM is the fourth hospital acquired this year, bringing the number of hospital under the management of Siloam to 29.
Ketut Budi Wijaya, President Director of Siloam stated, "We are delighted to announce opening of SHBG and the acquisition of RSHM. RSHM together with Sentosa will offer high quality patient care and services to 2.4 million people living in the residential areas and 4,000 companies operating in nearby industrial areas. Siloam now operates 29 hospitals, 16 clinics in 21 cities throughout the country, and 5,900 beds capacities supported by more than 2,500 specialists and general practitioners as well as over 8,600 nurses and support staff.
