The 11th Annual Meeting of the International Conference on Genomics

The 11^th Annual Meeting of the International Conference on Genomics (ICG-11),  organized by BGI, will take place from November 4 - 6, Friday - Sunday, 2016, in the newly opened China National Genebank, Dapeng Peninsula, Shenzhen.

The ICG-11 website, located at www.icg-11.org, provides the preliminary program and other relevant information. The registration will begin on June 1.

The beginning of November will see the most pleasant season in southeast China with flowers still blooming and the sea glittering in a gentle breeze; The beginning of November will show the fast-growing vitality and natural beauty of the newly developed region in Dapeng Peninsula; The beginning of November will unfold the elegant and magnificent look of the China National Genebank to the world for the first time.

Over the past decade, with the participation and contribution of our partners and companions, the ICG has grown into one of the most influential annual meetings in the ‘omics’ era/area, and becomes a forum facilitating international collaboration and global partnership.

The ICG-11 will bring more innovation and inspiration to the community, rallying for scientific leaders and rising stars, as well as industry veterans, entrepreneurs, young makers and geeks from all over the world.

The theme of the ICG-11 is “Omics for All – Global Partnership”. Following the spirit of the Human Genome Project (“HGP Spirit”), i.e. “Needed by All, Owned by All, Done by All, Shared by All”, the ICG-11 aims at building the international collaboration and global community in omics, focusing on topics related to “precision” - oriented medicine and healthcare, agriculture and poverty alleviation, green ecology and bio-economy, big data and biobanking, advanced intelligent manufacturing, and many more.
