Taking advantage of international and cross-strait cooperation, Beijing Academy of Science and Technology (BJAST) initiated the annual forum named “International Forum on Senior Care Science and Innovation(SCSI)” to provide a knowledge exchange and cooperation platform for scholars ,researchers, entrepreneurs and policy makers from different disciplines and backgrounds, so as to promote senior service knowledge integration and collaborative innovation, and make a contribution to tackling the challenge of global demographic change.The forum is co-sponsored by BJAST,Beijing Active Ageing and Smart Service Technology Co., Ltd., Beijing Research Center of Urban System Engineering and Beijing Science and Power New Technology Development corporation, and will be held every year.

The Fifth International Forum on Senior Care Science and Innovation (SCSI2019) will be held from 16th to 18th October, 2019 at Beijing Yulong Hotel (No. 40, Fucheng Street, Haidian District, Beijing).

SCSI2019 will invite famous scholars of the industry from Germany, Netherlands, Spain, Finland, Ireland, United Kingdom, Brazil, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, India, Chinese Mainland and Taiwan to attend, and they will share their views on and discuss the latest international developments, excellent cases, benchmarking, business models and government policies in the ageing industry during the past year. Meanwhile, a small elder care exhibition will be held, and representative Chinese and foreign enterprises and experts in the industry will be invited to visit the exhibition. Besides, SCSI2019 will invite over 10 media to report it at the same time and over 400 guests to attend including scholars and responsible persons from governmental departments and related companies.

We are committed to organizing an academic feast of the ageing industry and to creating an influential and high-valued platform which could integrate the whole ageing industry and facilitate knowledge exchange.
