　　The Kuwait Ministry of Health has approved a plan to construct within 5 years 08 new Hospitals and extensions with an allocated budget of 1 billion USD. Moreover, the Ministry of Public Works has a dedicated budget of USD 4.19 billion for additional 09 new hospitals to be established in the country. This initiative by the government will create additional 3,334 hospital beds in the public sector and an estimated number of 15,000 healthcare professionals positions.
