New progress has been made in the intellectual property protection of TUL. After three years, the case of "TUL" trademark infringement won and was compensated.

For a long time, the packaging and trademark of TUL products have been imitated by some manufacturers, which has seriously infringed on the legitimate rights and interests of the company and consumers. Since 2016, TUL has conducted unified evidence collection for violations in the market and carried out a series of rights protection actions.

In September 2017, the audit and legal affairs center of the group monitored that the "TUL bituo" trademark held by a company in Northeast China was suspected of infringing the company's trademark "TUL", and the company immediately defended its rights through legal channels.

2017/09

TUL applied to the state commercial evaluation commission for invalidation of the trademark "TUL bituo".

2019/02

Through the trial, the commercial jury declared that the trademark of "TUL bituo" was invalid.

2019/04

The company refused to accept the ruling and filed a lawsuit with the Beijing Intellectual Property Court.

2019/07

The Beijing Intellectual Property Court ruled that the trademark registration of "TUL bituo" was invalid.

2019/09

The company appealed to the Beijing Higher People's court again.

2020/08

The Beijing Higher People's court made the final judgment that the trademark registration of "TUL bituo" was invalid.

At present, the company has stopped producing and selling infringing products and made compensation in accordance with the court's judgment.
