Methyl -β-cyclodextrin inclusion complex dissolved faster than β-cyclodextrin inclusion complex, after oral absorption can quickly reach the peak plasma concentration, produce faster and stronger biological activity. However, it will damage the cell membrane only at a high concentration, and will not produce any hemolysis at a low concentration, and play a protective role in the stability of the cell membrane. Therefore, methyl -β-cyclodextrin can be used in some preparations at very low doses for drugs with poor solubility and high activity.
