INDICATIONS
Enrofloxacin injection 10% is a sterile, ready-to-use injectable antimicrobial solution that contains enrofloxacin, a broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antimicrobial agent.
Enrofloxacin injection 10% is indicated for the treatment of Bronchopneumonia and other respiratory tract infections, gastroenteritis, calf scour, Mastitis, Metritis, pyometritis, skin and soft tissue infections, ear infection, secondary bacterial infections caused by E. coli, Salmonella, Pseudomonas, Streptococcus, Bordetella bronchiseptica and Klebsiella.
MODE OF ADMINISTRATION
By subcutaneous injection
DOSAGE:
Cattle: 2.5 - 5 ml Enrofloxacin injection 10%?/100 kg b.w (corresponding to 2.5 – 5mg Enrofloxacin/kg b.w) daily for 3 – 5 days.
Cats and dogs: 0.25 ml Enrofloxacin injection 10%?/5 kg b.w (corresponding to 5 mg Enrofloxacin/kg b.w) daily.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
Do not consume cattle products during treatment.
Do not consume cattle meat before 14 days from last treatment.
Do not consume cattle milk before 84 hours from last treatment.
PRECAUTIONS AND WARNINGS
Do not administer more than 5 ml at each SC injection site
The effects of enrofloxacin on reproductive performance, pregnancy and lactation have not been adequately determined.
Not to be used to treat horses.
