introduction
Doxycycline hydrochloride is a semi synthetic tetracycline antibiotic that can penetrate cell membranes and bind to 30S ribosomal subunits, interfere with tRNA/mRNA interactions, and ultimately inhibit protein synthesis. As a broad-spectrum antibiotic and antibacterial agent, Chemicalbook has strong resistance to bacteria that cause respiratory infections, including Mycoplasma pneumoniae and Haemophilus influenzae. In addition, it can also treat infections caused by Chlamydia, Rickettsia, and certain spirochetes, and has antigenic and deworming properties.
Indications
Hydrochloric doxycycline is commonly used to treat infections in small animals caused by various microorganisms, including spirochetes, leptospira, rickettsia, chlamydia, mycoplasma, Bartonella, and Bordetella.
pharmacology
Tetracycline antibiotics are antibacterial antibiotics that inhibit protein synthesis by reversibly binding to the 30S ribosomal subunit of sensitive bacteria, thereby preventing their binding to aminoacyl transfer RNA. Some people also believe that tetracycline drugs can reversibly bind to the 50S subunit and alter the permeability of sensitive bacterial cell membranes. At high concentrations, they can also inhibit protein synthesis in mammalian cells. |
