Hydroxytyrosol is the bioactive phenolic component of olive extract
with various health benefits. It is considered to be the most potent
natural antioxidant ingredient with antioxidant capability of 10
times greater than Vitamin C. Unlike other widely used antioxidant, HT dissolves in both water
and oil to give full spectrum of efficacy in both lipophilic and hydrophilic environment.
Hydroxytyrosol extracted from olive leaf or olive fruit is viscous and oily. It is easy to absorb water
and extremely unstable. Through cocrystal design and screening, we discovered a new solid form
made of hydroxytyrosol and niacinamide.
