Puerarin is also known as puerarin. It is a flavonoid derivative isolated from the traditional Chinese medicine Pueraria lobata, which has a crown expanding effect. Exists in the roots of leguminous plants Pueraria lobata (Willd) Ohwi and Pueraria thunbergiana Benth. It has the effects of reducing fever, calming, and increasing coronary blood flow, and has a protective effect against acute myocardial bleeding caused by posterior pituitary hormone. Clinically used for coronary heart disease, angina pectoris, and hypertension.
