1.Introduction
Polygonum cuspidatum extract is extracted and refined from the root of Chinese herbal medicine Polygonum cuspidatum. Its active ingredient is resveratrol, which is brownish yellow to off-white powder. Polygonum cuspidatum extract, also known as resveratrol (Resveratrol), is a non-flavonoid polyphenol organic compound and an antitoxin produced when many plants are stimulated. Studies have shown that resveratrol and emodin exhibit a wide range of antioxidant properties, such as LDL cholesterol oxidation and lipid peroxidation. Resveratrol has also been shown to help cardiovascular health and blood circulation, relieve pain, clear away heat, remove dampness, remove toxins and remove phlegm. Other ingredients including tananthrone, emodin methyl ether and rhein all have anti-inflammatory, anti-arthritis and anti-microbial activities.

Polygonum cuspidatum, the name of Chinese medicine. It is the dry rhizome and root of Polygonum cuspidatum Sieb.et Zucc.
