What is Genistein?
The main source of genistein powder is dried Sophora japonica, which is a gray-white dendritic needle crystal powder. It is mostly soluble in commonly used organic solvents, soluble in dilute alkali, and almost insoluble in water. Pure genistein extract is a flavonoid compound that has estrogenic properties and can inhibit the activity of tyrosine protein kinase (PTK), induce programmed cell death, improve anti-tumor activity, inhibit angiogenesis, etc. It is a natural tumor chemopreventive agent and has a strong therapeutic effect on current tumor diseases.
